Steve J. Spears
Steve J. Spears was born in Adelaide in 1951. In 1973 he wrote and directed his first major stage musical, Stud. His best known play is the multi-award winning The Elocution of Benjamin Franklin.
He has a string of film writing and film acting credits to his name as well as continued contributions in the theatre. In addition to plays, he has published children's books, a collection of essays and a series of detective books.
