George and Georgy, a couple in their 30's with three/four young children, are in bed on Sunday morning trying to spend some meaningful time alone. As they unwind from the weeks work and domestic chores the bed becomes a movie set for their own individual escape fantasies. Finally after a cathartic and cinematic domestic storm sequence the bed becomes a life raft where they find each other, and some meaning in their lives again. In the climax of the play sex ensues in the moment before their time is up, and the kids demand to be attended to.
