‘R’ wakes up on Christmas eve next to ‘L’ - a man he doesn’t know the name of. R has never done this before, and L has done this one too many times. As they piece together their apparent one night stand, R reveals his plan to ‘come out’ to his family at Christmas, and for the next hour, the conversation turns through topics of family, social media, sexuality, and a touch of chlamydia. A new queer play that asks how much easier is it to be honest with someone we don’t know, than ourselves?
"It’s incredibly sweet, delightfully uncomfortable and beautifully vulnerable drama." - Abbie Gallagher, Theatre Travels
"...significantly, it also asks: what does it take to really know ourselves?"
