Homeland examines a family in crisis. A father has been retrenched from his job as a spray-painter, a mother has lost sight of her capabilities and their son is lost, struggling to cope with his adolescent rites of passage amongst the shadows of his parents worn and apparently wasted lives.
Daniel Keene's collaboration with director Ariette Taylor—the Keene/Taylor Theatre Project—was critically acclaimed both locally and overseas.
Homeland (with A Glass of Twilight) formed part of the Season 1 of the Keene-Taylor Theatre Project in 1997.
