ALL THE BLOOD AND ALL THE WATER

$5.40$15.00

Angel's dad is a Muslim from Iraq; his mum is a second-generation Australian of Italian heritage. His friends Ryder, Lola and Honey are all Anglo-Aussies. Despite a world of terrorist attacks, racial tension, wars and mounting local aggression, Angel finds himself falling in love with Honey.

But when Ryder's older brother Jax is released from prison, Angel is forced to choose between two loyalties. Is he an 'Aussie' or a 'Muzzo'. Faced with betrayal, he must decide between his family and the world he thought he belonged to. In this new multicultural world, which is thicker, blood or water?

EXTRACT: I remember digging my nails into the palms of my hands, digging so deep, digging through the skin./ Then Baba he hits the floor was this huge bang, and he's moaning this awful moan. At first I'm thinking they'd shot him. I'm screaming and screaming. And I was thinking the police were tying him up or hurting him. But they were just helping him to get to hospital.
