Piano in the Garden

$5.40$15.00

A play about obsession, lies and secret lives. Sam and Thelma Machlis, who live in suburban Brisbane, are about to host a reunion on the fifth anniversary of their son Paul's death. Their daughter Karen agrees to return for the first time since the event. She and Paul, both gifted musicians, were enmeshed in a love-hate relationship that led Paul to the brink when he failed to win a piano competition. Thelma tries to find some reasons for Paul's suicide, only to open a Pandora's box of secrets. Once they are laid bare, she will wonder if it was all worth it.
