RIO SAKI AND OTHER FALLING DEBRIS

Published with Last Drinks

It’s a dangerous world. Streets are becoming combat-zones peopled by psychopaths, armed robbers and decapitators. As sirens wail outside, people are searching for their own form of salvation.

For Tom, it’s the curiously olde-worlde vision of his Guardian Angel, for Louis the suicidal quest for any drug to obliterate consciousness, and for siblings Craig and Hannie, it’s the memory of a childhood moment when, through the keyhole, they witnessed the uncanny spectacle of something that resembled true love.

An iconic Brisbane grunge play about the final days of the world, and finding meaning and comfort when the beat of a human heart can seem a latter-day miracle.
