SOMETIMES IT’S HOT LIKE THE SUN

Gummy smiles. Mascara stained sheets. The smell of burnt bras. That feeling you get when your left nipple intimidates your right nipple.

Madeleine Border and Honor Webster-Mannison’s Sometimes it’s Hot Like the Sun is a collection of stories, found deep from the undergrowth of our under arms, that explores our connection and disconnection to womanhood.

Sometimes it’s Hot Like the Sun will teach your children the value of money, how to be well received on long distance phone calls and what to do when the world ends.

Sometimes it’s Hot Like the Sun was first produced as part of Festival of Australian Student Theatre (FAST), 2018 premiering at La Boite, Roundhouse Theatre on November 23, 2018.
