Simone Smith was on the board of Playwriting Australia from 2018, and finished her term on the board of APT in 2025.

SIMONE SMITH is a lawyer by trade, where she works as senior legal counsel at Macquarie Telecom after 12 years of private practice at top tier law firms.  Simone was also a board member of Playwriting Australia.

Simone is a Yuin and Wiradjuri person and grew up on the South Coast of NSW where an affection for the arts started after 15 years of classical ballet training.
