"Drapes" cosy little family of characters operates as a metaphoric gathering of all the emotional and personal connections mainstream society has with gay people but refuses to acknowledge. Gay children, gay parents, gay grandparents do exist, how do you deal with it - close the drapes and hide away, or open up and get on with life?
