Rana, a mysterious young woman, moves to an island in order to conquer her fear of drowning. The ferryman, mistaking her terror for sexual tension, falls in love with her. With each trip the tide rises as the characters are pulled closer together until memory, myth, past and present merge shockingly into one.
Winner of the 2002 Glen Eira Literature Award for a short play.
