Dramatic Reaction is a fun and frivolous lampoon on the making of live theatre. A two act satire Moliere would be proud of, Dramatic Reaction opens up a hidden world of theatre making.
A young director and a feminist playwright team up with a Shakespearean icon and reality
TV star to devise a hit new show. The only problem - none of them have a clue what
they are doing. So who you gonna call? Aristotle!
With the help of The Poetics the team battle on as an eagle-eyed entertainment reporter tries to bring the whole thing crashing down around their ears.

EXTRACT: This does not leave the room, but... this play sucks and we have to do whatever it takes to save it. Gordon still thinks we make theatre the way they did in the seventies, Pen - well, let’s face it, nobody is coming to see her acting skills - and Donna! Donna was a write off from the first day with her valium and vodka! I know. I didn’t report it because the show must go on and all that jazz. All is not lost though.

EXTRACT: I remember her beautiful, black, silken hair. It shone day and night. Even in the moonlight there was a magical sheen. It had the smell of green apples fresh off the tree on a bright golden day. Granny Smiths. I remember one time, we were on holiday in Venice. She was sitting on a footbridge over the canal. The azure sky framed her Venusian form as if she, too, was a part of the sublime architecture of that great city. The breeze brought a gentle flush to her alabaster skin.
"I have been working in the theatre industry for over two decades now – originally as a stage technician and manager, and over the last ten years as a director and now a writer. There is not much, good or bad, I haven’t seen happen or had happen." Samsara Dunstan
