ABOUT THE PLAY

Wanderings is the celebration of the In-Between places where identities defy fixed definitions and people are free to be exactly who they are becoming, in all their fluid messiness and infinite possibilities. Through the gender transitioning of an adult child and their relationship with their ageing mother (who is going through her own transition of consciousness with dementia), Wanderings will intimately explore the heart-opening opportunities, challenges and demands of shifting identities and changing relationship dynamics – within families and beyond.

We acknowledge that we live and create on unceded lands. We pay our respects to the First Peoples of Australia, and to their elders past, present and future.
