APPLY NOW: FIRST NATIONS PLAYWRIGHTS RETREAT 2024
Applications for the annual First Nations Playwrights Retreat are open!
This program is part of our 2024 Season – you can check out the full season here.
If you have questions about eligibility and how to apply, check out this FAQs page here.
Who is this program for?
This program is for Australian First Nations playwrights (or writers who are looking to expand their practice into playwrighting) who have a new script idea they would like to spend some time working on intensively. The retreat offers a 10 day opportunity to do this with the support of a cohort and onsite dramaturgs. Past participants are more than welcome to apply again.
How to apply
Applications are via our Submittable platform, which takes about 30-60 minutes to complete. It asks for some information about you, your playwrighting experience, and the script you’d like to work on. You can click on either the image or the button below to access it.
Applications must close on Sunday the 4th of August at 11:59pm AWST.
