Hannah Crane (she/her) is an administrator and spreadsheet enthusiast with a background in stage and production management.

She is passionate about facilitating stories at every stage of development, particularly those which platform new voices and explore new modes of storytelling. Coming from a technical and production background in theatre and with a language-focussed B.A. (University of Sydney, Linguistics & Anthropology), she is fascinated by the ways in which text and design mesh together, and loves unpacking the fine details of a work’s layers.

As an SM she has worked across the indie and mainstream sectors, recently with Griffin Theatre Company, Purple Tape Productions, Monkey Baa, and Australian Theatre for Young People. Between indie and mainstage she has worked across many of Sydney’s major venues, including the Sydney Opera House, Riverside Theatres, and the SBW Stables. In production she has worked primarily with Shopfront Arts Co-op, and was with National Theatre of Parramatta throughout their 2023 season, including the interstate tour of Tarell Alvin McCraney’s Choir Boy

She acknowledges and pays respects to the elders and ongoing custodianship of the lands across which she works – the Gadigal, the Kamaygal and Bidjigal, and the Dharug peoples.

We acknowledge that we live and create on unceded lands. We pay our respects to the First Peoples of Australia, and to their elders past, present and future.
