DR JOHN NICHOLAS SAUNDERS is the Head of Drama at Ambrose Treacy College, Brisbane. He currently holds the following positions: President, Drama Australia; Chair, National Advocates for Arts Education (NAAE); Honorary Associate, The University of Sydney; Honorary Program Associate, The Sydney Theatre Company.

Prior to joining Ambrose Treacy College, John was Director of Education & Community Partnerships at Sydney Theatre Company. He has worked as an educator across primary, secondary, tertiary and justice justice contexts.
