Natalie Nunan

Natalie Nunan is a Brisbane based writer, teacher and director.

Natalie received a highly commended for her play, Passing Wind from the Queensland Theatre Company's Young Playwright Premiere Award, in 2011, and her play was shortlisted in the Short and Sweet Festival in 2011.

Natalie has been a drama teacher in Queensland for thirteen years. Writing, directing and producing several original musicals, including Brent Street (2013) and The Scarlet Emerald (2015).

In 2016, Natalie wrote, directed and produced, Russo's Run, a cinematic live theatre production that premiered at Metro Arts in a sell-out season run.

In 2019, Natalie was commissioned by St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School to write the play, Never Never Alone to be performed at the school later in the year.

Her play Flies was written for the Domestic Violence Action Centre and premiered at the Ipswich Civic Centre in August, 2019.
