Heather Martin is a playwright from Brisbane who predominantly writes for a high school audience. Heather enjoys writing for larger casts and tackling issues relating to young people. Her work, The Book of David was shortlisted for Queensland Theatre's 2016 Young Playwrights' Award and was performed in 2015 by the students of Wavell State High School. Heather is currently studying a Bachelor of Journalism/Bachelor of Arts (Writing/Drama) at the University of Queensland.
