Sam Nerida is a theatre maker, producer and award winning playwright, living in Boorloo, WA. They are Static Drive Co’s Producer, notably creating and delivering To The Front (2021), a Digital Puppeteer for Murdoch University, and have worked in Producing roles for The Blue Room Theatre and Perth Festival. Sam works a lot with young people, being the Artist In Residence for All Saints College, and a Playwriting and Sessional teacher for WA Youth Theatre Company. In 2020 Sam was commissioned to contribute to PWA’s Dear Australia, was a KISS Club and Perth Festival Lab artist, and directed The Jellyman (Rhi P Art). Their play See You Next Tuesday was awarded Best New Writing (TBRT), Best New Work and Best Independent Production (PAWA Awards) for 2019.
