Vivian Nguyen is an Asian Australian multidisciplinary artist working across writing, acting, and producing. She has performed with RISING Festival and APHIDS, and collaborated with major institutions including Melbourne Theatre Company, Malthouse Theatre, The Wheeler Centre, ATYP, and La Boite. Her writing has been recognised through the Patrick White Playwrights Award shortlist, SBS Emerging Writers Incubator, and Red Stitch’s INK Program, with support from Creative Australia and the Besen Family Foundation. Vivian co-created The Astonishing Comet Boombox (Melbourne Fringe Judge’s Pick), and was commissioned for Cocaine Bust and Werkaholics, premiering at Belvoir Theatre’s 25A Season in 2025. On screen, she appears in Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix) and Rotten (dir. Phoenix Raei). A Rawcus board member, Vivian finds joy in dance, music, satirical podcasts, yoga, and roast chicken—balancing her exhaustion with creativity.
