Catherine has a Diploma of Arts in Professional Writing and Editing, and has had several works of fiction, poetry and articles published in TAFE publications. She has also tutored in Creative Writing for several years, and works as a glass artist with her husband, making kiln-fired glass tableware at their studio in the Danadenong Ranges. She has three children. SLEEPING WITH JIMMY DEAN is her first play to receive a production.
