Valerie Foley (BA, Grad Dip Early Childhood) is a children’s writer/producer who has created work for TV, stage and print.
Her screen credits include Keeko, Hi-5, Crocamole, Animal Mania, News of the Wild, Wow That’s Amazing, Crash the Bash, Magical Tales & Magical Tales - Surprises, Lah-Lah’s Big Live Band, WAC, Jay’s Jungle, Buzz Bumble, Studio D and History Hunters.
She created the teen game show What Do You Know? for ABCME, and has written for many quiz shows including Pyramid, Kitchen Whiz, Move It and Match It.
Her book, The Autism Experience compiled the experiences of a hundred autism parents from around the globe. She wrote the lyrics for Through my Eyes, the unofficial anthem for autism which has been performed around the globe and translated into multiple languages.
Her plays for children have been staged and published internationally and include The Journey, Entwined in Tales, Deckchair Canopy, Clouds and Password.
