John Goldsmith was born in the UK. He served in the Royal Navy in WW2 and in the Australian Infantry in Korea 1952-3. His short story based on his Korean experiences was placed second in a state-wide competition. He has written stories, poems and articles for radio, TV and the press. As an actor, he has played roles on stage, radio and TV.
