Bren MacDibble is a children's writer from Melbourne. You can find many of her books in Blake Education's wonderful Sparklers and Gigglers series and their Junior Novels. Her latest children's novel is called How to Bee (from Allen & Unwin) and is a novel for 8-12 year olds set in Australia after the bees are gone, when poor children are employed to run through the branches and hand-pollinate the flowers, much like they do in Yunan Province today. Peony really wants to be a 'Bee' but life gets in the way.
Bren's local primary school begged her to write 'The Other Other Tale of the Three Little Pigs'. Their brief - loads of kids and lots of fun.
