Celeste was a lecturer in Language and Literature up until 1990, and has had texts, poetry, and novels for children, young adults and adults published by Penguin, Random House and others, many of which have won awards.
Her latest work, A Certain Music was deemed a Vintage Classic by Random House UK.
Celeste was included in the Who's Who of Australian Women in 2002.
