An extensive director, playwright and dramaturg, Mirra has also created drama workshops for Youth Theatre Companies, such as Shopfront and Platform; worked as a community artist, including a project for suicidal youth [Cellblock], which resulted in National performances and an SBS Documentary; worked as a TAFE teacher on projects for long term unemployed; created and managed both Choices [an 8 week intensive therapy program] and V.I.T.E.L., [experiential learning programme] for drug addicted homeless youths for the Oasis Youth Network, Salvation Army, and drama workshops for disadvantaged children [City of Port Phillip projects].
