Peter Webb

Peter spent four years in the Royal Australian Air Force before training as an actor. He graduated from WAAPA at Edith Cowan University in 1991 and has worked extensively in theatre, television and film.

He was lead singer/songwriter for Melbourne grunge band Grin Dogs and toured the world with The Strassman Show. Peter’s music has been aired nationally on Triple J and his plays have been performed across the country to critical acclaim. His play Public Dancing (Glib; Western) was published by Currency Press as part of the Inside 01 Collection. His other plays include Micky.com, Colour, Whitefullas and Noble Rot.

Peter has lectured in theatre for Notre Dame, Curtain and Edith Cowan Universities. He has created original experimental work with the Contemporary Performance Department at Edith Cowan University and taught playwriting for WAAPA and Curtin University. He currently works as a freelance in arts/music festivals and events.
