RYAN ENNISS

A young author and theatre performer, Ryan grew up in a rural town in the south of Tasmania, and soon found creative outlets to occupy his time. He published his first novel at the age of fourteen, and has had his eyes set on producing more work ever since.

He graduated a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts from the University of Tasmania in 2018, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) at NIDA. He was the Artistic Director of the Fawkes Theatre Company for 2017. His play, Watching won the Community Theatre Judges Award at the Tasmanian Theatre Awards in 2018.

Constantly experimenting with style and form, his works range across many genres and subject matter. His ambitions for the future are to write and act professionally.

In his spare time he enjoys drinking tea, listening to heavy metal music, and tending to his garden.
