Carolyn Eldridge-Alfonzetti's short stories, poems and articles for adults have been published in mainstream magazines in Australia and the UK as well as a variety of literary anthologies. She is an author of children's books and her poems and short stories for children have been published in The School Magazine since 2007. She has gained numerous literary competition prizes and in 1997 was awarded Writing Fellow-class membership of the Fellowship of Australian Writers.
In 2009 her first play, Beneath the Flower Show, won Best Play in the Australia-wide "10 Minute Quickies" short play completion and was performed in Melbourne.
