Sandra Fiona Long

Sandra Fiona Long is a writer and theatre maker working across forms. She wrote and performed solo work Pancake Opus with La Mama Theatre in 2015/2018, and received a Ross Trust Script Development award for Duets for Lovers and Dreamers performed at fortyfivedownstairs in 2010. Sandra collaborates with Indonesian company Mainteater, including directing and translating Happy 1000 1000 Bahagia (Melbourne Fringe award Innovation of Form, Green Room Innovative New Form Award nominee), Directing Urat Jagat (Veins of the universe) and Microcosm in 2015. She collaborated with Chi Vu on the performance Vietnam a Psychic Guide, was script consultant for Personal by Jodee Mundy Collaborations, and has made theatre with community orgs including Arts Access, DVA theatre, St Vincent DePaul, Migrant Resource Centre, Western Edge and Geelong Courthouse Youth Arts. A performance of her script Birdcage Thursdays was commissioned for the Big West Festival Newest program in 2015, with further season at fortyfivedownstairs in Melbourne and regional tour in 2017.
