Julian Larnach is a Sydney-based playwright.
His plays include Flight Paths (National Theatre of Parramatta, 2018), In Real Life (Darlinghurst Theatre, 2017), Folk Song (Outback Theatre for Young People, 2017) and Beneath an Oxbow Lake (Outback Theatre for Young People and Australian Theatre for Young People, 2015). He has created new works with Sydney Dance Company, Powerhouse Youth Theatre and Griffin Theatre Company and undertaken a JUMP Mentorship and received an ArtStart grant.
He was Resident Playwright at ATYP (2015), an Affiliate Writer for Griffin Theatre Company (2013) and is currently a member of the inaugural Sydney Theatre Company's Emerging Writers Group.
