REBECCA TAYLOR

Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor is a Secondary Drama teacher, who has written and published Senior Secondary text books. She has spent more than twenty-five years teaching Drama to Secondary School students, with a particular love of performance and theatre work.

Rebecca began her teaching career in Mount Isa, where she worked as a committee member of the Mount Isa Theatrical Society, while also working onstage in role, backstage, and as Director of Productions. After five years, she moved back to Brisbane, where she has been teaching Drama ever since.

Rebecca has also been a member of the District Review Panel for her subject, where she has gained valuable insight into Drama - particularly Theatre for Young People.

While Rebecca has not published plays yet, she has written many and used them in her teaching, sharing these with teaching colleagues from other schools, and directing performances for public audiences in her local community.
