Glenn Saunders is a Melbourne-based dramaturg writer director.
Originally from Sydney, he maintained the theatre-review blog thespellofwakinghours for five years, and holds a Masters in Dramaturgy from Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).
As a dramaturg, he has worked with Elias Jamieson Brown on Aleppo, and Fiona Spitzkowsky on This Storm Will Kill Your Children (VCA, 2017); Henry V and Richard III (VCA, 2017); The Marvellous Life of Carlo Gatti, with Cassandra-Elli Yiannacou; A Comprehensive Study of Gastric Juice, with Remy Graham Throssell (VCA, 2018); was Assistant Director on Shondelle Pratt's Wombat's Wild Weekend (VCA, 2019). He interned on Cybec Electric 2018 (MTC), and was a 2018 recipient of the Besen Family Artist Placement with Malthouse Theatre for Bliss. His very-Melbourne play about ducks was presented at La Mama Explorations in June 2019.
