Mark Kilmurry

Mark Kilmurry is an actor, writer and director, originally from Coventry in the UK, now based in Sydney. He first came to Australia in 1991 with his award-winning theatre company The Snarling Beasties, and moved permanently in 1996. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli after first working there as an actor in 2002, then becoming associate director, co-artistic director and from 2015 sole artistic director. Mark has written, directed and performed in countless theatre productions around the world, from London to New York to Palmerston North, and has also worked in film and television, including writing and directing his feature film Being Gavin (2019) that has screened at many international film festivals.
