HONOR WEBSTER-MANNISON

Honor Webster-Mannison

Honor Webster-Mannison is a performance maker and playwright working across Brisbane and Melbourne. Honor uses a variety of mediums to create politically charged and tenderly strange theatre and performance art. After graduating from the University of Queensland, where she majored in creative writing and minored in drama and philosophy, Honor moved to Melbourne to undertake a Masters of Writing (Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts. In Brisbane, Honor was involved in such programmes as the Australian Theatre for Young People’s National Studios, Queensland Theatre’s Young Playwrights Program, La Boite’s Twenty-One: For Emerging Creatives Program and Playlab Theatre’s Incubator Program. A short piece Honor wrote, titled Bottlefeeders, has been published in ATYP's 2017 collection of monologues and subsequently staged at Sydney Wharf Theatre. Honor is also passionate about collaborative and experimental techniques for performance writing. She is currently working in two Brisbane theatre collectives, Chance Collective and Yours Sincerely.
