Alan has worked extensively as an actor in film, theatre and television for the past fifteen years and in more recent years as a professional writer, producer and director. He achieved success with three of his short film scripts: Stairwell was selected for screening at the 1998 Los Angeles Short Film Festival, ICU made it to the third round of the BBC Short Screenplay Competition and Cheating was a finalist at the 2003 Sour Grapes Mini-Movie challenge. He has also written and directed many videos for the corporate market.
