Born Leichardt (NSW) 1940 to Aboriginal mother and English father. Technically illiterate until 1968. Itinerent worker and truck driver for most of working life. Attended University of Wollongong and studied writing for theatre and film. First play 'Buckleys Hope' workshopped at ANPC Conference 1999 and presented at US Conference. Currently studying for Masters in creative arts in scriptwriting.
