Elise Hearst

Elise is a Melbourne-based playwright, writer and storyteller, and a graduate of a Bachelor of Creative Arts at Melbourne University. From 2006-08 Elise lived in London, attending the Royal Court Theatre’s Young Writers’ Programme. Readings and performances of her work were shown at Trafalgar Studios, The Soho Theatre, The Hampstead Theatre and Theatre503.

Recent credits include Bright World (Theatre Works and Arthur), The Mesh (Red Stitch and ARTHUR), Member (Fairly Lucid Productions), The Sea Project (Griffin Theatre and ARTHUR, Mudlark Theatre and ARTHUR, MTC Cybec Readings), Dirtyland (National Play Festival, New Theatre and ARTHUR), She’s a Little Finch (MKA), and Delight (Griffin Theatre). Elise held a 2010 residency with the Griffin Theatre. In 2016 Elise was a finalist for the Lysicrates Prize for her play The Good Wolf.
