Lois was among the first intake of students to NIDA and has been a freelance director for many years. Direction credits include A Room of One's Own with Pamela Rabe for Melbourne Theatre Company, Female Parts (by Dario Fo and Franca Rame) and More Female Parts (by Sara Hardy) with Evelyn Krape, and Piaf with Jeannie Lewis.
