Amber Spooner is a Sydney based actor and writer. She is a Charles Sturt University graduate with a Bachelor of Acting for Stage and Screen. Since beginning her artistic journey Amber has been involved in creating scripted and devised works for theatre and film. While at University she developed numerous performance art and theatre productions, which were performed here in Australia and internationally. Her first short film King of Anything had its premiere at the Bare Bones International Film Festival in Oklahoma USA. She has a passion for creating work that examines hidden aspects of our society. The Various Methods of Escape is her first play and was written as part of ‘The Hive’ run Caroline Stacey and dramaturg Peter Matheson by The Street Theatre in Canberra.
