INSIDE OUT

$5.40$15.00

What do you do when a loved one changes beyond recognition? When the rational world is taken away from you? A journey into one young man’s mind, to the place where borders are shifting and battle lines are drawn. This play looks at our very selfhood and how we survive when it is taken away.

EXTRACT: Smile, be civil, agree, sit on your hands, don't tell them a thing, especially the one with the glasses, don't make eye contact. Nod, nod when they talk, try harder, nod with commitment, put some effort into the nodding, not too much, too much nodding is crazy, commit to it, do it, then move on. Clean lines, clean signals, put them off the scent. Throw them a smile, like you're throwing kipper to a seal.
