JG, Specs and Angie is a comic play that tells the story of three friends in year 4 at primary school. JG is a brash and confident boy who excels at sport. Michael Fisher is new to the school who finds he needs glasses and Angie is a fiery girl who stands up to all the boys. The complications arise with their respective families and significant issues the three friends need to deal with. By the end of year 4 all 3 students have grown and changed and managed to keep their friendships intact. JG, Specs and Angie has been produced across Australia and had success in Michigan, USA. The play is suitable for performances by youth theatre groups and drama classes. It is often performed by large classes who share the three roles. The play is suitable for both primary and secondary drama classes.
