Set in the Huon Valley, the play explores the joys and challenges of being young in a rural Tasmanian community. The story follows Johnno, a 15 year old boy with a wicked sense of humour who feels judged and branded as a "bad kid" by the community. Slowly, the tragic circumstances that drive him to the brink of destruction are revealed, while the possibility of redemption is explored through the re-appearance of his long lost mother.
