One of Nature's Gentlemen was written in 1967. It is a vaudeville farce that hinges on the anthropology of the bar-room, the rituals of mateship, sport and sexual competition, where games are both a means of communication and domination, friendship and destruction.

It was performed on many occasions by the Australian Performing Group, both at La Mama and the Pram Factory, as well as in community theatre tours of factories, hospitals, and the country.
