SLAM DUNK

$5.40$15.00

Composed in 1984, Slam Dunk is a three-hander for teenage males: Jock, Chuck and Beefy. Jock Mungo is a nature-lover, conservationist, republican, and keen on literature. Chuck and Beefy are chainsaw-lovers, brash, aggressive, Americanized rednecks - Aussie clones of the American teenager sporting baggy shorts, reversed baseball caps and huge Nike boots. When they meet Jock the sensitive Australian teenager who recites poetry and enjoys nature, they mock him remorselessly, and finally attack him physically. The result is a tension-filled hour culminating in a chilling climax (1 act, 3 men).
