Julien is a boy of about thirteen. Pascal is a journalist who drinks at the coffee shop opposite Julien's house. Julien has been watching Pascal through his binoculars and decides he wants to choose to be this man's son. This is a love story, of sorts, about a man whose life is changed by having a son.
