THE BOAT

$15.00

A series of four shorter plays, all centered around a boat.

The first play is set in Bermagui in the 1930s and is based on the travels of westerns writer Zane Grey’s fishing expeditions. The second play is the mysterious Wind in The Wires, which tells the story of a boat suddenly appearing in a wheat field in Hay, NSW. The third is a play about hippies arriving in Bermagui in the late 1960s and the final play, Castaway, is a series of monologues from five women attending an art class on the seashore. The Boat can be performed in its entirety or just using the first three plays, while Castaway is suitable to be performed as a one act play on its own. The Boat is suitable for performances by schools.

Castaway is also available as a single edition.
