Seeking Filipino Stories

Diwa is a new verbatim theatre piece, created by Jordan Shea, which celebrates the contributions of Filipino people to the everyday life of Australia.  This project has been commissioned and supported by Australian Plays Transform and Performing Lines.

We are currently seeking real life stories of joy and survival, that will be interviewed and then dramatised to create a bold new theatrical work.

Verbatim theatre is a style of theatre based on the spoken words of real people.
