Brett’s acting credits include Broadway Bound, August: Osage County, Chapel Perilous, The Cherry Orchard for New Theatre as well as assistant director for Grapes of Wrath at New Thetare 2019, Mauritius (Sure Foot Prod), Glengarry Glen Ross (Darlo Theatre), Anais Nin (Adelaide Fringe), Hamlet (Emu Heights Prod), writer/director of his one-man plays Abacus,
Lucky Town
& The Easter Man, all playing at various Australian Fringe Festivals, the ten minute one-man Evelyn, Missing Pieces (Adelaide Fringe), numerous Short & Sweet festivals - twice reaching the finals. In 2016 he won Outstanding Guest Actor for webseries VTV at LA Webfest Southern Shorts Festival. TV/film credits include Les Norton, Underbelly-Golden Mile, Rake and Red Dog. For Sydney Fringe 2019 he directed Katie Pollock’s play The Becoming. Brett trained at The Roy Hart Theatre, France and was mentored by Robert Lepage. He has directed Home and Away, TVC’s, produced theatre in NYC for writer/director Wendy Beckett and had photographic portraiture exhibitions. He has tutored HSC students at International Grammar School and run acting classes in Sardegna.
