Barnaby Chiverton studied Architecture at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland before moving to Australia in 1999. His connection with theatre started in Melbourne through acting and later with theatre production. He started writing for theatre in 2009. His interest in theatre continues to be fuelled by contemporary writing - particularly short stories and poetry, by seeing plays that touch the boundaries of the form and by scientific ideas that affect our perception of who we are. Black comedy, relationships and science predominate his work.
